Romania achieved a historic sweep of the world rankings at the 2026 FIRST Tech Challenge World Robotics Championship, held in Houston, USA, where it claimed the top four spots globally.

- Heart of RoBots (Buzău) – 2nd Place Worldwide
- Quantum Robotics (Bucharest) – 3rd Place Worldwide
