Who is behind Smarval
Smarval was founded and is led by an expert in the Romanian labor market with extensive experience in higher education, vocational training, recruitment, assessment, and youth development.
The initiative is based on long-term partnerships with schools, universities, and companies, directly addressing the need expressed by young people in Romania for a clear, accessible, and respectful space for information, guidance, and advocacy. This need is also reflected in broader international analyses on youth, education, and access to opportunities, such as those presented in the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report / 2026 Youth Report: Lead with youth.
